Classes & Experiences

Some students making marbles

Have you ever had the desire to try heating and manipulating hot glass? If so, you aren't alone. Here is your chance.

I currently offer lampworking experiences for up to 4 people per "class" in downtown Ogden, UT at The Local Artisan Collective 2371 Kiesel Ave (Located in The Junction). This 3 hour lampwork "Experience" will allow you to make some glass items of your very own. I currently offer classes on pendants, marbles and beads.

Lampworking or "torchwork" is a type of glassblowing using a propane and oxygen fueled torch to safely heat and manipulate glass. When proper safety measures are taken, lampworking is a very safe and fun thing to do. All materials and equipment will be provided. Please read entire description to know what to expect. The glass used for this experience is borosilicate or "Pyrex" as it is commonly known. This 3 hour lampwork "Experience" will allow you to make some glass pieces of your very own.

Class information and a schedule can be found here-  The Local Artisan Collective – Event Calendar
